You might think that working for Coolibar, a sun protective clothing brand, would involve sitting around looking at pictures of hot models.

Well...okay.

But there's a serious part too. I learned - through some of the most important and harrowing stories I've ever reported - that life is generally a lot better without melanoma. I also found out how motivating that is when you're lobbying for sun protection at the state capitol.

In all, Coolibar was a unique blend of fashion, health and plain old crazy unpredictable retail marketing.
