This is what happens when really smart people get some really crazy ideas.

Like "let's create an agency that does public relations AND promotion as a single strategy."

Contrary to expectations, this mutation did NOT spawn the seeds of the next apocalypse. Instead, it resulted in some pretty ingenious programs - the Lazy Homeowner, for example, who brought new effort-saving gadgets to network morning shows, or the annual "Bad Gift Exchange", where people brought in unwanted holiday gifts for a major retailer's gift cards (reporters loved this almost as much as all the bad gift recipients did).

I did things - things I am proud of - for several of these efforts. I also wrote the brochure for the whole agency.
